So, one time at Oceanside?

I stuck this ....... ermmm nevermind ;-)

ANYWAY! A part of my trip to Oceanside, California was a visit to the wine country of Temecula! There are around sixty wineries tucked into the beautiful hills and I was determined to try most of them!

Needless to say I tried my best but unfortunately I learned something about myself that I can honestly say I never knew.

I'm allergic to grape vines!

It started out wonderful. Beautiful country, cool breezes, scenic camera shots. The wine was unbelievable goes without saying. I took a tour that I found online that offered lunch, a visit to about 8 wineries along with included tastings. Awesome right?

Wrong.

About the third winery in, I noticed that my eyes began to feel 'puffy'. I didn't think much of it. I continued on enjoying myself. As time went on, I began to feel more and more drug out. Couldn't understand what the hell was going on! By the sixth winery I felt like I got hit by a Mack truck! Could barely see, nose running down my face and endless sneezing.

I was hating life!

Needless to say, I got through it the best I could. Not many pics as I couldn't see but as I suspected, as soon as I got out of Temecula valley, I slowly started to clear up. Unbelievable. By the next morning I was completely normal. I was pretty bummed.

But hell, I tried to look on the bright side. Good thing I'm not allergic to malt, hops and barley! I'd REALLY be pissed off!

I'm allergic to a lot of things, but I'm pretty sure I'm not allergic to grape vines. Okay, well, I can't actually say for sure, but I'm almost positive of it. At least you're able to look on the bright side! ;)
