That's right folks, your friendly neighborhood SjN is itching to get outta town. What better place than the ever notorious Sin City otherwise known as LAS VEGAS!
Yep, I will be jumping on a plane tomorrow for four days of fun, relaxation and naughtiness!! Booked me a nice suite at the Luxor (my favorite casino) and I'm going to do some serious decompression.
I literally live 45 minutes away by air so Vegas is an awesome getaway.
A confession, I'm not much of a gambler but if you like to people watch, theres' no place better than Las Vegas. Vegas has a flurry of interesting people milling up and down the strip. Makes for some serious laughter!
I also thought ahead and booked some seats at the Penn & Teller show over at the Rio. I've always wanted to see them so I'm looking forward to grabbing a spirit (or six) and enjoying their antics.
Oh, almost forgot the reason I was getting away. On Monday February 15th, I'll be celebrating my 15th wedding anniversary! You heard that right, 15 years! Don't even ask me how I made it but were going strong.
Actually, Vegas is our pre-anniversary vacation (is that a word?). In September, we'll be heading off to paradise. Seven days in beautiful Kauai, Hawaii! There's really no place quite like Hawaii. If you've never been, save up and get your tukas out there! It is incredible. Can't wait for that! But for now, Vegas it is and I'm really looking forward to it.
I'll be doing my best to post some pics of the good times in Sin City.
